If the data Plan is entirely consumed within the Plan time period, a new Data Plan can be purchased again immediately. You can also schedule a Data Plan for Universal SIM to activate on a future date, as well as set up automatic extension of the Data Plan.

To activate a Data Plan, log in to your OneSimCard account and go to the My SIM Cards menu. Scroll down to the Discount Plan section, select the Plan and click Activate. The cost of the Plan will be deducted from the SIM card balance. If there is not enough money on the SIM, you will need to add funds before you will be able to activate the Plan.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Once you activate a Data Plan, the amount charged is not refundable.
• Data not used during Plan period will be lost.
• After the Data Plan expires, i.e. the time period ends or you exhaust your data allotment, you will be charged the Pay As You Go ( PAYG)  rate in that country unless you activate a new Data Plan.

OneSimCard DataMax utilization rules:

If the Data Plan is entirely consumed within the Plan time period, a new Data Plan can be purchased again immediately. You can also schedule a Data Plan for DataMax SIM to activate on a future date, as well as set up automatic extension of the Data Plan.

To activate a Data Plan, log in to your OneSimCard account and go to the My SIM Cards menu. Scroll down to the Discount Plan section, select the Plan and click Activate. The cost of the Plan will be deducted from the SIM card balance. If there is not enough money on the SIM, you will need to add funds before you will be able to activate the Plan.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Once you activate a Data Plan, the amount charged is not refundable.
• Data not used during Plan period will be lost.
• After the Data Plan expires, i.e. the time period ends or you exhaust your data allotment, you will be charged the Pay As You Go ( PAYG)  rate in that country unless you activate a new Data Plan.
• Data will be charged in 100kB increments instead of the usual 1 or 10kB increments.

NOTE: For all SIM card types, if you use up your data plan and continue to use data, this will be billed at per MB usage at the posted per MB rate in that destination. To avoid this, it is suggested to use the auto-renewal feature to purchase a new package automatically.

No. DataMax, DataMax eSIM, OneSimCard Universal, Expedition and eSIM World service is a prepaid service. You will not be able to spend more than you put on the SIM, except when you set the automatic recharge of the SIM. There are three simple ways to add funds to the balance of the SIM: from on-line, from the mobile phone and by setting up an automatic recharge. This pertains to both - purchased SIM cards.

All SIM types are valid for 1 year after the last billable use - phone call, sent SMS or data use.

The SIM balance for all types of OneSimCard SIMs is valid for 10 months after the last recharge. Each recharge extends the balance for the next 10 months period. If you do not recharge within the 10-month period, any remaining balance will be forfeited.

NOTE: For DataMax Plastic & DataMax eSIM SIM cards, if the SIM card has no balance, the SIM will expire and be removed from the account after 7 days, unless there is a data package currently active on the SIM (not a future activation). If there is no balance on the SIM and the active data package expires, the SIM will expire 7 days following the expiration of the active data package.

An expired SIM can be restored for a $10.00 restoration fee plus a recharge of at least $25.00.

Yes, as of March 3rd, 2020, OneSimCard eSIM can be used for Mobile Data, Voice and Texts. However, you can still use the OneSim VOIP app option with a Personal Extra Number (PEN) for additional savings on calling and texting

For DataMax eSIMs, only Data is available. However, you can use our OneSim VoIP app for cost effective voice and SMS communication.

Yes. Data Roaming should be enabled on your phone for eSIM for data to work. Calls and texts on eSIM World should work with or without it.
